Generally good though my veal was slightly over cooked. I would have sent it back but did not want to inconvenience other members of my party.

First, the family and long-time staff welcome you and explain the menu, which offers much wider variety than typical Italian fare. You ponder and order. Then the waiters serve up generous portions of the menu items they have described to you, all served artfully. You eat and marvel. You feel like you are in a comfortable Italian home for a holiday. There's no hype and no disappointment. Book early because the restaurant is not large, but congenial. Eat and enjoy.

When ever we go into Boston LaSumma is our favorite place to eat. The Food is great and the service is great.

Cozy, comfortable, delicious food, great service. Prices are reasonable, but restaurant.com makes it an even more appealing buy. TONS of Italian restaurants in this area, so I'm on a quest to visit a new one on each of my visits to BOS. But, I do plan to return here eventually.
