Terrace Cafe is a splendid addition to the Ballantyne Village dining landscape; it's a place where friends and family can gather to enjoy a meal made from scratch. Open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner, hungry diners can always find delicious food at this eatery. From breakfast favorites like the Red Velvet Pancakes, a variety of Eggs Benedicts, Shrimp & Grits and traditional breakfast favorites to healthier choices, there's always plenty of variety to start your day get off right. The Terrace Café is also a great place to enjoy a lazy weekend brunch, or stop by for a week-day lunch and dine on tasty starters like seasonal fritters and fried green tomatoes, and, you can even find what may be the best hot corn beef on marble rye outside of NYC. When dinner time comes, the menu broadens its focus to offer everything from Butternut Squash Soup with Truffle Sour Cream and Maple Horseradish Veal Chop to the Eden Farm Pork Tenderloin and New Orleans Fried Scallops with Lobster Hollandaise. Head over for dinner then check out the outstanding live entertainment on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. Or, drop in for a great meal after a movie; this splendid café is right downstairs from the movie theater. The casual setting makes this a perfectly relaxing spot, with a community table, a fantastic breakfast counter designed so everybody can find a place to enjoy their meal with company or on their own and a beautiful outdoor patio for relaxing with drinks or dining al fresco. NOTEWORTHY: A full-service coffee bar also makes this place a coffee lover's destination. Drink specials run from 4-6 pm. And if you have an event coming up, the catering services and take-out possibilities fit every occasion, including a private room that can accommodate up to 12 guests.
