Since 1981, locals have been in love Stefanina's, and now that there are five locations, they're loving it even more. This outpost in O'Fallon is the original Stefanina's. However, the restaurant quickly outgrew its original digs, dictating a move to this current location at 8645 Veterans Memorial Parkway (just a pizza toss from the original location). Speaking of pizzas, these St. Louis-style pies made with provel cheese (mozzarella also available) are hand-tossed, fresh-made, and yummy as all getout. And that's especially true once you've topped them with fixings like shrimp, fresh mushrooms, Canadian bacon, artichokes, anchovies and Italian sausage. Sandwiches? They've gottem', including a 6-oz. Ribeye, Grilled Reuben, and Chicken Cordon Bleu. Still, pastas and entrees are among the top crowd-pleasers here, with Stefanina's Lobster Ravioli, Lasagna, and Chicken Pasta Primavera taking extra bows. Meanwhile, other noteworthy house specialties include the 16-oz. Porterhouse, Chicken Marsala and Stuffed Flounder. WEDNESDAY SPECIAL: $6.95 Steak Dinner (at O'Fallon location only). LUNCH SPECIALS: 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. Monday - Saturday.
