Breeze is Midtown Manhattan's most talked about Thai-French kitchen, as all who enter invariably become hopelessly addicted. Located within steps of the Broadway Theatre District, this casual, budget-friendly retreat has earned raves from THE NEW YORK TIMES, NEWSDAY, TIME OUT NEW YORK, CITY GUIDE NEW YORK, NEXT, HX, and TALKIN' BROADWAY. In fact, Breeze was most recently named one of the "Top Ten Best Thai Restaurants in New York" as well as the "Best Thai Restaurant in the Theatre District." So set a course for this welcoming weigh station, where the table d'hote represents a perfect marriage of two diverse yet infinitely simpatico culinary cultures. To start, we suggest sharing the chickpea-floured Crispy Squid, Thai Spring Rolls and Steamed Thai Dumplings, although the Lemongrass Shrimp Soup and Spicy Duck Salad are marvelous, too. Meanwhile, among the entrees, popular specialties include the Steak Duboeuf with chili-lemon sauce, Duck Breast de Paris with ginger-tamarind glace, and King Tiger Prawns tossed with fresh zucchini noodles in coconut green curry sauce. Fried Rice, Noodle, Curry and Vegetarian delights also abound, as do Southeast Asian-Style Sandwiches and 10-oz. House-Ground Burgers prepared traditionally or Thai Basil-style.
