Coastal Provisions Market is about as much like a chain supermarket as a Lamborghini is like a Kia. In short, this establishment takes shopping to an all-new level. What you'll find is a store devoted to providing personalized attention in an intimate, exclusive setting. With a full-service butcher shop, you can actually speak with the person who hand-cuts Coastal's natural meats and prime steaks. Likewise, when it comes to seafood, Coastal sources only the finest, much of it from local waters. So expect to become hooked on the market's fresh fish, ready-to-cook crab cakes, seafood salads, seasonings and sauces. If it's fresh produce you seek, again, you've come to the right place. Coastal's experts hand-select the freshest, ripest fruits and veggies, much of it from local farmers. Look for luscious prepared foods that are made fresh-from-scratch daily, plus specialty cheeses, gourmet items, and deli meats that are largely roasted and cured in-house. Finally, the market offers an assortment of libations to complement its foods. In fact, you can enjoy onsite food and wine pairings in the market's Wine Shop Cafe Thursday - Saturday starting at 6 p.m. Here, patrons enjoy an outstanding selection of small plates and entrees. Still, as an alternative, you may order from a choice of carry-out "Family Feasts" that feed six or more people.
