Description:

Lincoln Square gets an Old World visit in the form of Trattoria Trullo, an inspired destination that has Italy as its heart and Chicago as its home. In warmer months, when the folding doors open out onto the sidewalk patio, Trattoria Trullo takes an even more Mediterranean feel. But no matter what time of the year you stop by, the elegant dining room always has a welcoming feel. The interior decor features linen-lined tables, colorful art, and a bar that has an intricate design. The menu digs deep into Italian traditions and specialties, pulling in from all parts of the country's culinary heritage. Depending on your mood, there's bound to be something to savor for lunch or dinner. Delicious entrees include the risotto con porcini and mascarpone, salsiccia Panini, pollo alla parmigiana, or the fresh catch of the day. There's also the Le Pizze, thin-crust pizza that you can watch the kitchen prepare in an imported oven, and it is even available for delivery. The wine list, just some of the drink options featured, includes nearly 70 selections, a number of which hail from the Puglia region of Italy.
