Located in a gorgeous mansion that was once a private estate, The Courthouse Grille is a local landmark, and deservedly so. Open for Happy Hour and Dinner 7 days a week, guests enjoy a deliciously varied lineup of Steaks, Fresh Seafood, Veal, Pasta and Italian Specialties. The focal point of the main dining room is an impressive stone fireplace; however, there's an additional fireplace in the lounge, where a polished wood bar extends a warm welcome. Multiple banquet rooms on two stories accommodate private parties or corporate function of 8 - 100 guests. Nevertheless, taking center stage is this restaurant's legendary food and service. The updated and expanded menu still features favorite Italian dishes. But that roster has been joined by a many creative new options, from exciting Starters and Salads to Gourmet Burgers and Sandwiches. Known for its beef and veal, showstoppers include the 14-oz. Angus Rib Eye, 12-oz. New York Strip and Veal Saltimbocca. Still, the Pecan Crusted Walleye and Lake Superior Whitefish are equally worthy choices, and the Chicken Ernesto is a Courthouse classic. As a accompaniment, look for a fine choice of wines and beers, plus all your favorite cocktails.
